OUR HISTORY
The "Aphrodite" restaurant was first opened in 1992 as a creative experiment of a young man, who wanted to offer something that does not look like a "tourist gastronomic product", but an expression of love, as he had been taught in his mother’s and grandmother’s kitchens, with origins from Asia Minor, Crete and the Aegean islands.
With small steps and no hastiness, aiming at the most complete quality upgrade of the tasty proposals, but also at the inseparable connection with the primary sector, the monitoring of international trends, techniques and methods and with continuous training of the whole team, the restaurant claims one of the best positions among all restaurants of our country for one main reason: It does not rest “assured", but it is constantly looking out for the best!
The restaurant is well-known for its specialties with fresh fish and local meat, which are carefully selected on a daily basis, emphasizing on local traditions, but also on the creative Hellenic and Mediterranean cuisine.

Our Garden
The creative dishes of the Chef are served in a flower garden, a cool and comfortable environment, reminiscent of the garden of an old mansion. The iron barred doors of the entrance remain hospitably open and the sensual music discretely emphasizes the moments of gastronomic pleasure, totally harmonized with the environment.
The MedDiet Mediterranean Diet Quality Label for restaurants was awarded to the "Aphrodite" Restaurant in Pythagorion, Samos after being evaluated by the competent certification body in Greece. Through this label, the restaurant has been recognized and promoted as a place of "authentic local Mediterranean gastronomy and culture", both in Greece and abroad.
